Since 'upgrading' to V5 - VST/32 I've had nothing but problems. Most of it seems to be when recording and playing back 32-bit audio. All sorts of strange and wonderful 'chirps'....all hell breaks loose. The performance meter is crap....don't believe what you're seeing for a minute. Basically, I don't think my PIII-500 can handle it. Ridiculous.
Anyone having similar trouble?

I've heard the same thing on other bulletin boards - you're right about Version 5. Sounds like its a beta, and you guys are the guinea pigs. Hope you get the bugs worked out so you can get your money's worth. good luck.

Switch back to 24 or 16 bit modes. It saves a shitload of disk activity. I agree that the new CPU meter is flawed. VST/32's best new attributes are not the 32 bit modes.
