What monitors would you prefer out of this list? Im on a tight budget.

Yo Matt:

I recently got a pair of the KRK ST8 passives and they are very good for the price involved.

I replaced my Yorkvilles which I sold in a week to a friend. The Yorks only had a 6.5 woofer and the KRKs have an 8" woofer -- it does make a difference.

Of course, you can pay more and get more. I can't comment on the KRK actives but I would guess they will work quite well.
