Bets in Digital mixers

I'm in the market now for a mixer, and really my only requirement is Automation (aka motorized faders). It looks like I'm going with digital, and one that has caught my eye on EBAY, for it's price< is a yamaha ProMix01. There selling for less than $400 and I wonder if there's something wrong with these. Does anyone suggest any good mixers with motorized faders for less than about $800. I don't know just what the yamaha's can do, but I'd like to be able to Automate a fader up at a solo and back down at the end of that solo maybe 3 or 4 times during a song, and for several different instruments. I'd like about 16 channels (simultaneous) and ability to output to 8 tracks, again simultaneuosly (8 bus???).

Any suggestions??

Plus, there is some good reading there on mixers. While this forum does talk about mixers as they relate to studios, the mixer forum probably has more info about products.
