My kid has dented my Beta 58a's grille really bad so I searched for a replacement. I wasn't expecting a replacement to be quite expensive.cost almost half of a brand new mic.
For folks with SM 58 and Beta 58a, can you tell me if I can use SM 58's grille on beta?
The price difference is quite significant:

Besides the blue strip, are there any differences? Are they interchangeble? Am I going lose quality if I go for the SM's replacement?
