Yo Wheels:

You're missing Full Compass. I've been buying from them for four years or more and they always have the lowest price -- they do their homework.

Sweetwater Sound is also available but I had trouble with a salesman and when the Sweetwater management would NOT give me a different salesperson, I DROPPED THEM.

Full Compass has nice folks and I've been happy with them.

But, call all of the 800 numbers when shopping. Then, you have to figure who will take care of you if you have a problem.

Most good companies will give you a clear statement regarding returns, etc.

There are horror stories around about virtually all the places that have been mentioned. It's just a fact that there are a certain percentage of screw-ups with online ordering...like everything else. They are all basically OK.

A bit of personal advice. Wherever you order, put your foot down real hard and insist on factory sealed gear. I think a lot of these places like to play games with online orders to get rid of returns and demos.

this thread was an awsome idea and it brings a big :D to my face time to go reseach

I've had good service from B & H and Dr. Audio.

I don't know how to add links.

BobHaymond,

Open the site that you want to tell us about in one window and your post in the other.

Take you mouse to the end of the retailer's URL, left click, and drag the pointer to the beginning. This will highlight the entire URL. Once the URL is highlighted you can let go of the mouse button.

Press CTRL-INSERT (to copy the URL to your clipboard... uh... I just realized that I am assuming you are on a Windows box).

Go to your post and press SHIFT-INSERT.

Love the feedback this thread is getting.
