Best way to get more inputs with firebox?

In the near future, my brother will be purchasing a 2 channel firebox (rather than letting me persuade him to get a firepod). This is sufficient for him to record his keyboard and whatnot, but what about my drums?! ...My question is, does an affordable way to add more I/O's to the firebox exist ($200 or under) - or is it better to get the firepod? (I'm mostly concerned with quality of sound, not affordability).
 
If you're already talking about needing more before the purchase, save up and get the Firepod.
 
Well he only wanted it for his stuff, and wanted to save $200 (and I was looking for a way to add more inputs for myself for only $200) - but I've convinced him to go with the Firepod. So all is well now. :) - Only a few more weeks until it arrives!
