Best vocal mics?

Hi all,

In my recordings I am currently using a Rode M3 for vocals which I like but I'm sure there is better.

Let me know what mic you think would suit my songs, I also have a low vocal range if this makes a difference?

Discussing 'best' vocal mics is like discussing 'best' chardonnay wines... past a certain point it's more subjective poetry then quantifiable value. For my money once you get past $300 in large condensers you're into diminishing returns.
