Which drum machine really gives you that bang for the buck, or better yet, which has the best overall sound, most realistic and track worthy?????? Steve :rolleyes:
 
I've always liked the SR-16 though maybe it's just because I've used it more than the rest.

I did, for one song I recorded, get a neat sound by pressing a mic against my house's outdoor gas tank and whacking on it.
 
Well, this is based on bang for the buck. I was, and still am quite impressed with the zoom machines. For the amount of money they cost, they sound great. The're pretty simple to use also. Only thing I don't like about the RT-123 is the lack of a MIDI out.
