I wish I still had my TRS-80.....wait....no I don't. I couldn't care less.

A commodor 64...Isnt that like 20 years old? I dont think they even made sound cards back then...

I think this was not a serious question, there, MartyMcFly...

If you think it was not a serious reply...you should talk to the dork who posted that he get a soundblaster live...

Check this out:

www.vgmusic.com

They have all kinds of C64 music on there.

There's a local radio show here that plays C64 songs from video games once a week. It's awesome.

I think you should get a better system, like a Commodore 128 and couple it with a Delta 1010 for 24 bits recording/playback ;)

Or better, get a Stand-Alone digital Workstation, like a Porta-02

Digi 001 with Pro Tools LE. You will need a second floppy drive, and upgrade the RAM to 65kb.

Ah, the memories... hey the SID chip in the old Commodore 64 rocked in it's day! Way better than Atari or the early IBM PCs.

look, until you've had the Timex Sinclair 1000 with expanded memory of like 8K or so, and which uses the TV set as a monitor to produce all those wavey interference lines, you haven't had raw CPU horsepower behind you or your recording.

Clearly the Ardvark is the only appropriate choice for mating a sound card to the Commodore.

awesome crying Swaggart gif, by the way!

HMMMMM....
How about for my TRS MC-10, you know, the lunchbox sized micro computer with the micro sized keys. I have the 10k expansion module and everything... no, wait - I tossed it about, hmmm 18 years ago.

Well, I've used a Commodore Vic-20 using only the default 4k RAM and getting up to 25 tracks, using ProTools and definately Delta Soundcards rule! :D :D :D :D

This thread is fun!

But it looks like we're getting old :( :o
