Best sound card to buy?

Hello everyone! Please help me to make a decision which soundcard is good to buy in nowadays?I have choice between ESI Maya and Ma-Audio Delta 1010 or Delta 1010LT.Which one is best to buy for Electronic Music Production?

The M-Audio cards are PCI which is an obsolete system (taken over by PCIe) and current motherboards only use emulated PCI which is buggy and causes problems. The Maya has PCI and PCIe models available. Depending on the age of your motherboard, get the right one if you choose it.

M-Audio has been bought buy InMusic and many of there cards will no longer be supported, including the ones you mention.

The vast majority of audio interfaces for music production are external boxes using firewire or USB, and firewire is on the way out.
 
If you want an internal card, I'd recommend the Lynx-TWO. They can be picked up used for ~$500. Otherwise, an external soundcard would reach the lower budgets better.
