Best software for digital recording on XP

hello,
i have a fairly new tascam digital mixer that i have hooked up to my mac g3 running digital performer. it connects through the firewire port and syncs up real easy. i recently purchased a new, fast, PC that also has a firewire card and i had hoped to hook up my digital mixer to the computer and find software that would be similar for XP. does anybody have any ideas of the best software that would work with my digital mixer via the firewire port that has a similar interface to digital performer??

There is no "best"; only what works best for your workflow.

Go to www.hitsquad.com and look around at all the demos linked there. Try some out and see what works best for you (that's how I chose between Cubase and Sonar...)
