I am looking for a mixer so I can record more than one track at a time. I still am using my crummy SB live card so I could use the extra track, panning 2 mono tracks for multiple instruments. So far I have found Eurorack UB1204-Pro to the best one in my range

At this point I will not need the 4 outputs, but for when I eventually upgrade my sound card, and will not have to upgrade mixing boards.

I'll probably be using it to record little things I do with friends, hopefully I can do some drum tracks, since sampled drums are getting to be very limited, and a extreme pain in the arse.

Any other mixers I should be looking at?

find you a used M-Audio Audio Buddy preamp...it will get you 2 separate tracks in......you wont get a decent mixer for that price.......

I want to have them panned, so I can edit them seperatly later, and have room for more inputs. Obviously the behinger isn't great, but my other equipment is still going to bog me down.

I can't buy a mackie board, and I couldn't justify the purchase for what I am doing.

your recording software should allow you to do it with the Audio Buddy......N-Track will for sure.....just set it up to record a stereo track to 2 separate tracks (if that makes sense)........

get the audio buddy. it'll do what you want, and leave you some money left over to buy an MXL v57m lmao! Do it, man! :D

Check out the pawn shops now and then. I found a Mackie 1202 VLZ for $149.00 and jumped on it.

the audiobuddy puts the two inputs on left and right channels respectively?

The Yamaha MG-series are in that price range and are quite reasonable...

I' ve had very good luck with a variety of Behringer mixers just like the one you reference. Most cost less than $100 - $150.
