Best looking mic

Yeah

I'm with Track Rat on this one. Can't get better looking than hand-rubbed oil-finished oak housing for a microphone.

Hopefully, we'll all hear one next to an Oktava MC-012 from The Sound Room only.
 
The Blue stuff!

The Dragonfly, the Blueberry and the Mouse are my favourites, but almost any of the Blue Mics would win my contest. I love them! I wonder if they are any good. And I can't find any prices anywhere...

There's an article in the most recent "Electronic Musician" magazine about putting together a mic cabinet. The guy that wrote the article put the Blue mics right up there with Neuman. I used a borrowed Blue Dragonfly on a guitar cabinet once and it sounded great.
 
Some people claim that the obsession with microphones, and particularly their appearance, is a sublimated sexual obsession. I don't think there is really anything to that.

I think the best-looking microphone is the ElectroVoice RE-20 ! It is SO HUGE..LONG AND FAT...it is Glorious ! It also has such a warmth ! I just love to see one standing proudly, admired by all in its presence ! Always remember to use a "pop-filter" (if you know what I mean....)
