I see my original post didn't show up. My Gateway PII just will not work without constant glitches for home recording so I'm thinking of building a new one. (I've brought this subject up in the past but alot has changed since then..)
I've also bee thinking of getting an Apple G-4 but cost is prohibitive.
Any thoughts on going with a used one?? I've seen well-equipped Macs that can be had in the $500-700 dollar range but would that be a good idea or not?? (I'll be running Logic on it and just want to use it for recording only..)
