Reluctant Commander
I notice the Griffiths Sound Works web site says he will load your cab with WEBER's!!

I think my new used little Mesa Subway Rocket with the Weber Chicago in it is already best friends with my new little Griffiths 1x12 cab with the Eminence Tonker in it!

I'm never gonna set my guitar down now.......I'm calling this my "Micro Stack!" :D

WOW! People!

What a great speaker this Tonker is! Has a lot more muscle in the sound than the Swamp Thang! And with this Mesa amp, what a super combo this is! I love this sound! I would even dare say it is more responsive than the Weber Michigan, and that Michign is certainly no slouch!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

I'm interested, is it a Brit. sound or American? I have a couple of Red White and Blues and I was thinking of getting another pair for my Twin, but am open to suggestions.

Brit or American? I'm not sure, I just know I love it.

Best sound I've found is pairing up a Tonker with either a Weber Michigan or a Celestion Vintage 30. Also love the sound of a V30 and a Blue Dog together. Cant go wrong either way....

But this Tonker is just the most ballsy speaker I've heard in a long time. Makes the Swamp Thang sound more like a glorified Legend.......which is not a bad thing, I imagine a Tonker and a Swamp Thang together in a 2x12 would give you a rpetty full, rich tone...... but I like mixing them with Webers, the Webers seem to have something that the Eminence just never has, while the Tonker gives the whole thing a sense of brute force.....
