IMHO.... M-Audio Firewire 1814. PCI is in the process of being replaced as a standard. You should consider PCI peripherals like the Delta 1010 to have a limited shelf life.

dude just go to guitar center and pick up the presonus firpod for like 500

its retail is 600 but guitar center is awesome and takes a shit load off of prices

thats what I'm gonna do probably around christmas

I would say go cheaper but then it would be shit

the firepod has decent enough preamps so you won't get stuck with shit

I have the FW1884 and love it. Pres as good as mackie VLZ and it works great with sonar
