Best 500 Dollar Vocal Mic

What is the best condenser vocal mic for (about) $500 dollars. (We will be recording anything from very soft vocals to very loud rock vocals)

I personally think the MXL V67i looks the coolest haha, but besides that I have little knowledge as to what sets these mics apart.

If I had to choose a condenser in that price range for a variety of vocals, I'd choose Rode NTK. It makes very few people totally suck.

We are looking to get the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40

If it were I ..... I would go with a multi-pattern microphone for all occasions.
