behringer ultramizer pro need help

I just baught this thing after reading about it on behringers web sight it looked like the answer to all my high and low end enhancement needs for my final mix onto cd
It seems to help but I think it could help alot more if I knew how to use it. If anyone else has this proceser and knows how to use it or has any good tips I would love some advice thanks kole.

My advice would be to pack it and send the thing back. If your having problems with your high and low end, you should fix those at the source/mixing environment, not after the fact.

Yes, I have it. The exciter works OK, and also the stereo image widener. The bass enhancer sucks, though, and the compressor is absolutely useless.
I have to agree with ametth. If you have the possibility to send it back, do so. No amount of tweaking stopped it from making my mix sound worse than without it.

We both did the same mistake: We bought something without listening to it first... Well, you learn from experience!
