The UFX series have a built-in 16 track recorder that must use an outboard USB flash or hard drive.
When a new USB drive is inserted for the first time, the mixer tests the writing speed of the drive to determine the audio quality. The outcome appears on the TRANSPORT CONTROL screen as “Lo” (16 bit) or “Hi” (24 bit). If the drive is too slow for recording, the display will show “SLO” after testing.
All the flash drives I've tried end up "Lo" and will only record @16 bits.
Are there any that will test "Hi"? I'd really like to record at 24 bits.
