Right now I have the KRK RP5 Rokit Monitors. I was at a local studio yesterday and he had the behringer truth's (these things are big as fuck) but anyway they sounded real good, but are they as good as the KRK's? Which mons are more accurate for the mix?

Any help is appreciated .. Thank you

The simple asnswer---NO. I have owned them. Behringers pump out great volume, however they are fatiguing and, frankly, are really difficult to locate tracks in a 3 dimensional soundfield. We upgraded to Blue Sky Pro Desk--an unbelievable difference. Blue Sky are brutally honest monitors, the mixes translate beautifully, they are not fatiguing. A great value. Please avoid the Behringers--they are deceptively potent, but not revealing enough.

They aren't that bad

I agree with regards to the fatigue factor, and the sound levels but adjusting the room settings on the speakers really makes the difference... so long as your monitoring room is solid of course.

I'd say they're pretty darn good for the money... well I would do, I bought some last year.

If you already have these nice KRK RP5 Rokit's why not save some more money and buy something better than the thruth's? I own the B2031A Thruth's and as long as you don't expect PMC or Genelec quality than they are just fine. I mean, some people buy these expensive pro monitors for there bedroom studio's, but what is the use of that when your acoustics are crap..

arent the krks more expensive then the behringers? i agree wiht ralphi save up the money and when you have enough sell the krks and buy something a little nice or a lot nicer
