Hello
I have a problem with the KLARK TEKNIK effects processor everything works fine all the fx controls etc but no effect do i need to replace the card in the mixer?

First thing I would check is the return jacks. They are likely switching jacks that disconnect the internal effects when you've got an external unit connected.

That said, it's not that likely that both would malfunction at once, but it's something to try without having to open the unit up. Try feeding some external signal into them to confirm the signal path, then work the jacks by inserting and removing a 1/4" plug a few times.
 
What "card" in the mixer? Then there are a LOT of Klark Teknik FX units! Model please.

The mixer does not have inserts AFAICT so you would need to feed the input of the KT from an AUX send and the KT output goes back to an AUX return. Use 1/4" TRS 'stereo' cables throughout.
