Behringer MX2442A Eurodesk Mixer

What do you guys think about this mixer?

I already have digi001 and presonus Digimax but I need some additional preamps and some mixer for my project studio.

I don't know if that's right thing to buy.I'm kind of low with money so there are not too many choices.

Any suggestions?

with B.. stuff, you get what you pay for...

I just bought the rack 2642 (they're selling this thing for €/$288 now!!) and it does it's job: pre-amplify my mics. Don't turn the gain knobs past 3 o'clock, and the last 'half hour' of the gain is terrible.

Seriously, if you can hold off and save up for a Mackie, do it. You'll be glad you did. If you can't, then the B.. will do the job.

How much worse is Behringer mixer(mx2442) compared to some VLZ Mackie?And How about preamps?

The Mackie VLZ is a whole lot better than the Behringer....

A lot worse, you get what you pay for,... Thats the bottom line.
Everything in the Mackies is better, from the pre-amp to slide pots.
Like I said, the Behringer will the do the job, but the Makie kicks it's arse.
