I have a yamaha 2816 I just purchased a Behringer H4600 headphone amp I have tried using the headphone output on the yamaha with a return/send cable to the input of the main input of the H4600 I can only hear the left side.
What's the problem
I've also tried the stereo output ....same thing.

Please help

Yo Croce of the 69th parallel:

You need to run a STEREO 1/4 inch plug from the phone out plug on the 2816 into the input of your can amp. Then, you merely connect your 1/4 can stereo
can plugs into the amp inputs.

Should work with no problema. I use the 2816 and a Peavy can amp. I have four can inserts and have no problema.

Should work. Try and see.

You can use your main outputs from your recorder ( probably RCAs? ) into the back left and right inputs of your amp. I run mine through an Ebtech Hum Eliminator to get balanced inputs into the headphone amp. ( I was getting a low hum using unbalanced lines - rca to 1/4 mono" into the amp ). You can then use the balanced outputs from the behringer for your monitors or recorder or whatever.
