I have a Behringer rack mount fx box that puked out on me. Wondering where you guys have sent your Behringer gear for repairs........
hopefully, someplace that has a lot of parts so I dont have to wait 3 or 4 months to get it fixed, and you know they fixed it correctly....?? someplace you trust.....
The thing is out of warranty, and the retailer is in Canada so returning it to the place I bought it is not an option. Yes, it is probably cheaper to buy a new one, but the only seller who has any left is the place in Canada, and they wont ship to the USA. (Dont ask me how I got it here in the first place! Let's just say getting another one from the same place is no longer an option, either!)
Any quick tips are appreciated. Behringer has a list on their web site, but choosing blindly from those lists is a crap shoot in it's own way. My experience with those lists has been that when I actually call the place to get an RA number, they usually say something to the effect of, "Geeee whiz, fella, we haven't worked on THAT stuff for years. Where'd you say you got it??" My luck with those kinds of repairs has been 50/50.....half of them have kept on ticking after the repair, the other half broke again a year or two later.....
So if you have had any really good luck with a specific repair center, specifically with Behringer equipment, that's what I'd like to hear about!
Thanks kindly, folks! - SC
