Forget that mixer. I had it, and it is not what you need.

Get a Tascam US-122, and plug your mic into that (XLR cable).

the mixer is not that high of a cost, plus i've seen resell of go for a lot. i am looking for something to connect the 1/4 or rca outs to my compters input (line in on my computer) will the us-122 sound better than a high quality (monster cable or Planet Waves) adapters? is the 1/8th connecter the one that goes into my computer?
thanks for the help?

I have been using a similar (same mixer) setup while I research and save for gear.

If you get a RCA to 1/8" stereo cable it will let you go from the "tape out" of the mixer into the "line in" of your sound card.

Hope that helps.
