Hello all:
I am pretty new at the recording game. I recently got a Behringer ddx3216 digital mixer and Alesis DH24 for use as an on-site recording rig. After reading the manual and playing around with different settings, I was able to record to the HD24 through the mixer. Levels were fine and I could monitor as I was recording. But I can't hear what I just recorded! I've tried different set-ups in the I/O page, but so far, I'm not able to hear back what I recorded. I can see levels on the HD24, so I know something was recorded on the hard drive.
Can someone who is familiar with the board please help me? By the way, I have all channels lightpiped to and from the HD24 and am trying to monitor playback though the headphone output.
What I would eventually like to set up on the board is the ability to record direct on channels 1-16 and monitor back through channels 17-32.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, the rest of my home system is based around a Mac G4 933Mhz and the Digi 001 running the latest Pro Tools LE system.
Thanks again to anyone who's out there that knows how to set-up this mixer!
All best--Neal
