Better Than You
Anyone work with the Behringer B1 or B2? It looks like alot of bang for the buck. I'm looking for a decent vocal mike for under $50-150 range. I am using a Behringer Eurorack UB1832FX-PRO mixer into my computer. I know this is going to turn into a "moral and business ethics" thread, but I would really like to know how they sound. I am very happy with my mixer, but took much abuse from alot of people in other threads for having "low moral standards" for supporting such a company. Just think what would happen if they found out I'm on a PC and not a Mac!
Anyway, I'm hearing alot about the SP B1 also. Anyone have any advice?

Morality aside, I'd get the Studio Projects B1 (and did).
Very nice sounding, and unusually "neutral" in a good way.

I'm with Chessparov on this - I own two SP B1's and love them. They're very "honest" LDCs, without the hyped top and scooped mids of other mics. And at $80 a pop, they're the best bang for the buck around IMHO. Also, although I doubt you'll ever need it with a SP mic, you'll actually receive support from the guys at Studio Projects.
