This is an appreciation shout out thread to dkelley and EDAN. If you have not given positive feedback to these two guys, go do it now! dkelley for pointing out how good the V-Verb really is, and EDAN for pointing out that they were in stock at musicians friend for ridiculously cheap. Give 'em the rep they deserve!

Only if the unit works for at least 6 months :D

I don't need a verb, but based on some reviews hmmm

I do need a rack shelf, so maybe I can add just the v-verb while I'm at it.

I say you can't invoke the 6 month rule, when the v-Verb comes WITH the three year warranty all for under $100. Can we get a ruling on this?

Can we also make this a support group for people who purchased the unit and are still trying to come to terms with themselves over it... (I've powered it up now... but still haven't sent a signal through it)... baby steps

Just joking man;)

But like I said, I don't need a verb unit.

FWIW-
Does Behringer have a repair shop in the US? If the unit breaks within 3 years (most likely?) where would you send it?
Inquiring minds may want to know-I for do not have any Behringer stuff.

I think Frank would need a rep too, since he got one based on the lead-with a review of its worth. Hows that for invoking:D

Why , is we paranoid?;)

doh, sure is baby steps, ya gotta hook it up first:D

ooh, that don't sound good, can you imagine, you have to insert a cable into it?????

Then some voltage would emit its swine flu into your other gear -- :p you better invest in some serious soap.

Support group. YES! I like this idea. First step is admitting you're a Behringer owner. We could work out the rest as we go...

I am:

A) A sucker for a deal

B) Not above Behringer

C) Now waiting for the V-Verb I just ordered.

D) All of the above.

Anyone care to guess?

Hey strat, how you been? I'm gonna go with D) all of the above, final answer.

I'm also going with D. I drank the coolaid too on this one...and loved it. I cannot believe this thing was $80. Probably the best deal I've ever had. I already gave dkelley some positive rep on this one...I'll go give EDAN some too.

Frank

Doing well, zero--how 'bout yourself? And yep, D would be the correct answer.
Great strat, just buyin' gear as fast as I can sell it. You know the drill. Never ending quest! Never thought the quest would lead me here though, ya know? Wierd.

Wow, you're too kind man.

Happy that you're loving it as much as the other owners out there.

I think one of the biggest things homerecording should do is find bargains and spread the frickin word within our community before someone else does it without us knowing :-)

what I love the most in the world (gear->deal wise anyway) is when a company that has a really bad rep (whether it's deserved or not, such as Behringer) puts out some amazing product that is equal to or better than much more expensive products without any caveats at all.

those deals don't tend to last long.

It's not the greatest reverb in the world. but it's way better than it should be. and honestly I see no reason why one can't work with the vverb as their main highlight reverb unit for big buck commercial work.

keep on smiling :-)

cheers
