I've googled for this and found you guys, I hope someone can help here if possible.
I've had an XV88 for about 4 years now, it was my partner's who bought it for doing arrangements when he was conducting. However, he used it only as a piano and doesn't know how to do more than change instruments-same with me. I've tried tackling the users manual several times and am in the process of trying again however I haven't made a lot of sense out of it for doing what I'd like to do. Basically I make up my own stuff for fun, I'm not musically trained, I just like to play. I'd like however to run several instruments at once and well, run multiple tracks.

I've got as far as midi in the past however doing it that way doesn't allow me to use the keyboard sounds and I'd rather just be able to do a few tracks on the keyboard and record them live. What set me off today was accidently changing demo pieces and realising it must be possible to have a whole range of instruments running at once.

Does anyone have a handy link to a tutorial or article going over these basics at all? Thanks in advance for any advice offered.
Regards
Richard

I was able to find a tutorial on DVD for a Roland keyboard on Ebay, I think it was originally available through Roland but as the keyboard was older it was no longer there. Its a good through tutorial and addresses everything quite well.
Oh there is a Roland Users Group that may be able to help you out, they are a very knowledgable group!

Thank you for the info-I've just looked on ebay, sadly there are other Roland tutorials listed but not that one.

If you know anyone who has it for sale, I would be very grateful.
