Hey folks.

As a self-labelled noodler and guitar player looking to expand into the realm of the keyboard, I'm looking for a very inexpensive and basic keyboard to expand my basic knowledge on. I'd like to spend under $100 and am open to any and all suggestions, even if they're supposedly keyboards for "kids".

Thanks for your time.

if you dont plan on gigging it then think about getting into useing vsti's on your cmp and check into something like the axiom controllers from m audio... not gonna find much @$100...

steinberg awhile back came up with a standard for what they called virtual studio technology... it originaly was about special effects but later expanded to virtual instruments... so vsti's are sounds you can controll through your computer... they can be sample playback or simulations of hardware like minimoogs etc... they can be a big boon to in the box musicians as i can for @$200 have for instance as good a piano as the big guys... make sense???
