Alright! Diggin' it as we "speak"...

Dig the harmonies, they're good without being "over the top."

Drums, guitar, bass... all sound really good... the Hammond sounds great (where did that come from, btw?), as does the wah... although at 1:52 I'd bring up the level of your wah solo...

:D @ 2:37... dig it...

I keep looking at the track name in Winamp, keep thinking it's saying "jizmix2," LOL...

Good fade at the end, great Hammond sound. Would like to hear a Hammond-centric song, since you've got that GREAT sound goin' on...

Dig it!

:D

Really nice. The song was was well recorded. The vocals, the instrumentation - everything was nice.

Keep it up!

Thanx for listening guys!
Kelly:Sorry, forgot to mention that the keys were played by a guy named Bog Speth.Outrageously good player.By the way,my brother played all the guitar.
I got a couple more songs with my brother ready to go,then no more.He moved to Maine, and we cant record anymore.I'm trying to get him working with N-track,but it's slow going!Anyway, thanx again!

Im really gettin off on this wah-wah!I can relate about your brother.Im trying to figure out N-tracks myself so I can show my brother how to use it, so we can do some stuff over the net.He moved over 1200 miles away and Im lost!

Good tune!I really enjoyed it.:D

I agree, decent tune but I would have liked the solos louder... Nice job overall! The recording sounds real good too!

Thanx for the input guys!I guess the solos need to come up a bit!

Dude!

Rightious performance on all fronts. Very tight arrangment and execution. The sentiment was well played through the lyrics.
I guess I just plain ol' liked the song.
My brother and I live together and all I've been able to squeeze out of him in 3 yrs is a 30 sec (Amazing) git solo. He is one of the best git players I know, nepotism aside, but doesn't like to record at all. Oh, well.
Worthy track dude.

Theron.

Thanx theron and Babycham,I'll pass the compliments on to my bro'!
We've been hashin' this one for 10 yrs or so!We finally got performances that we both could live with. He's much more of a guitarist than a writer and recordist, but I guess some people are like that!If I put half the energy into playing that he does,I might get out of "the cave"a little more often!

What a great tune. Very interesting chord changes. Real nice vocals/harmonies. Bring up that wa wa lead. Oh yeah! nice tune and recording.

just about everything is really nice, and a nice take off on a reggae feel. my only complaint is the sound of the vocals. Although performed nicely...especially the bg vocs, they sound like any "joe", and don't have enough uniqueness to them to kick this song a couple notches above the rest of the crowd. That problem licked, I think the tune would be very radio friendly.

Thanx for listening!
I wish I was better at recording vocals! It is definately my weakest point!Any suggestions are appreciated!
God,I just punctuated every sentence with an apostrophy.Reminds me of a "Seinfeld"episode!!!!!!!!

Great atmoshpere on this one. Very happy and fun sounding.

Vocals most likely sound much better to us than to you.

I love a happy sounding song, to me they're very hard to do.

Also short and sweet, left wanting more.

Great work!!

It's great... I especially like the sound of the cymbals.... One thing I would have liked to hear was a bit more bass drum, especially on a song that grooves like this... and the vocals were a bit too warm for me... I like I thinner vocal.... It could be my headphones though... Im using really crappy ones...

Awesome work...!

Joe

unfortunately, there nothing I can do about the rhythm section mix.It was recorded on a vs840 shortly before I built my computer. The only things I have control over are the vocals, lead guitar and acoustic guitar.I should have made copies of every individual track, instead of just a 2 track mix, before I sold the vs840.I'm such a silly.
Thanx for the comments VOXVENDOR and GT!
