I followed a couple of bumblebees around the backyard with a video camera one day, they didn't seem to mind. In fact they completely ignored me. I added a soundtrack, I'm wondering if the music 'fits' the visuals.

When I show these to my family, they're always 'aw the vid is OK but why do you have that horrible music with it?', so I'm just looking for some more independent opinions...

This is part 1

and if you can stand the excitement, the sequel..

Well I prefer the music to the actual videos of the bees. But I can see why they don't like the music as it doesn't really fit with the images.

That first video is brilliant. Seriously. The combination of the video and music is like an acid trip in under two minutes. It's sinister in a bright, bouncy way. By the end, I was seeing bees bouncing to the beat. Don't change a thing. Tell your family to mute it if they don't like the music.

Checking out the second one.

The music is great. Synth work is real good. Is this the kind of stuff you do?

So you're saying EDM "Wubs" are what's killing the bees?! How dare you!
:D

These songs sound familiar. Did you post them earlier without video?

Yeah, this is really cool BH. Your family know nothing! :D

I don't have anything in terms of critique but your synth and drums are really full and powerful as usual and I enjoyed them soundtracking the bees around your garden.

Rumble Bees (1) meets When Bees Attack (2)
The music gives the focus the camera couldn't give.

Its cool. The music magnifies the frantic hurry the bees have in the quest.
:D

Actually they might be quite calm efficient workers, but frantic works for me.
:D

loved the 2nd one,
with that low buzzy synth becoming the bee in the opening shot...

you need some slurping noises to go with the bees eating.
LOL

Cool. I like the synth bass line in the first one and the drum sound in the second. Not sure if they fit the video or not. Maybe if they were in the key of "B".

It was amusing. The synths seemed too loud for my taste.
Whether it fit the music, hm, not imo, but others seem to think it did so you make the call!

Well I can kind of see why a 20 something might think this music is cheesy. Well it is.

So having said that. A couple of cartoon Katos giving the bee a karate chop would put this over the top.

Cool tuneage. Great low end as usual. Big and solid, but under control.

The synth sounds on the second one were particularly good.

Great drum sounds.

The bee part got a little boring.

Haha. Thanks guys for the views and all the pertinent comments. Think I'll shelve the trilogy in the series until I get a better script!
