Flailing up a storm.
So this is not techincally a PC recording situation, but this seemed best.
I will often record a track or two from the PC->berrie mixer-> fostex MR8
Usually software drum machine parts or an audio track uses to play along with or from the software mixing program back to the MR8. Seems like anytime i do this, i get a faint high pitched regular beeping noise in the track, like a click track. Anything else going throught he mixer is fine (well as fine as that thing will allow it to be, no beeping at least) and it is definately coming from the (cheap onboard PC) soundcard output.
The wierd thing is that i don'thear this when I play music throught the same mixer straight into my Warfedale monitors.
Is this just some by product of the crappy soundcard, a problem with the MR8 or what? I don; think i get the same beeping if i am not recording from the PC to the MR8, and the built in click track on the MR8 is definately turned off. Any ideas?
