What tape treatments did the beatles do ?

How did they loop different speeds together with a different
song tempo?

if a song is 60bpm how can you have really slow 20bpm and fast
80bpm tape treatments and edits.

What edit tricks did the beatles do ?

what about doing ADSR editing on audio attack, decay, sustain, release editing?

or did they just cut and slice like shuttering effect tape edits?

Is that all you're looking for?

There are many books available revealing how the Beatles (George Martin) did a lot of their tricks. Naturally it required much skill and time, and it was all done by hand with tape, but it's not a secret. Especially check out "All You Need Is Ears" by George Martin and "The Beatles Recording Sessions by Mark Lewisohn. They're both very informative (neither really deals with the fan crap). I'm sure there's more and you may get answers here, but if you're that curious, go out and read the books. You won't regret it.

This will never work. You forget that these books are all printed in English. :)

The physically held loops in place with pens and pencils, a whole bunch of them. Another book is "Revolution in the Head".

How to do ADSR Waveform editing?

1/cut, smoothing for single hits of drums

2/convolution is quite wierd thing to use but eg; if you record a hand clap in a room and you like the rooms ambient qualities, in adobe audition and cool edit you can delete the hand clapped wave form and use the rooms reverb qualities over another wave form.

3 and 4/splice tight to the wave cutting out the attack of the sound and capturing it from its peak position and fading out the release so when the wave form is looped the sound will be smooth and there should be no audio click as it repeats.

thanks for the information and your time

Real time tape editing...

You have to tell us where you are from. I think more than one of us is curious.

Here is an essay on real time tape editing. Enjoy!

An essay on real time tape editing

Issues surrounding real time tape editing can never be over analysed. Underestimate real time tape editing at your peril. While much has been written on its influence on contemporary living, it is impossible to overestimate its impact on modern thought. Inevitably feelings run deep amongst those most reliant on technology, who are likely to form a major stronghold in the inevitable battle for hearts and minds. Relax, sit back and gasp as I display the rich tapestries of real time tape editing.

Social Factors

Society begins and ends with real time tape editing. When Thucictholous said 'people only know one thing' [1] he created a monster which society has been attempting to tame ever since. More a melody to societies dysfunctions than a parody of the self, real time tape editing is crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle.

Primarily real time tape editing builds trust among the people. It is intrinsically linked to adolescent inner acclimatisation.

Economic Factors

We no longer live in a world which barters 'I'll give you three cows for that hat, it’s lovely.' Our existance is a generation which cries 'Hat - $20.' We will study the Greek-Roman model of economics. Cost
Of
Living

real time tape editing

It is apparent from the graph that the influence of real time tape editing is strong. What is the secret to its strength? Obviously the cost of living has always depended upon real time tape editing to a certain extent, but now more that ever. A sharp down turn in middle class investment may lead to changes in the market.

Political Factors

Posturing as concerned patriarchs, many politicians guide the electorate herd to the inevitable cattle shed of 'equal opportunity.' Comparing the ideals of the young with the reality felt by their elders is like contrasting pre and post war views of real time tape editing.

Take a moment to consider the words of jazz singer Maximilian Bootlegger 'Political idealists must ideally deal, for I daily list my ideals politically.' [2] Considered by many to be one of the 'Founding Fathers' of real time tape editing, his words cannot be over-looked. I feel strongly that if politicians spent less time thinking about real time tape editing and put more effort into their family life, that we would have a very different country.

One of the great ironies of this age is real time tape editing. Isn't it ironic, don't you think?
Conclusion

To conclude, real time tape editing parades along man's streets and man waves back. It replenishes the self, influences the influencers, and always chips in.

I'll leave you with this quote from Leonardo J. Fox: 'My Daddy loved real time tape editing and his Daddy loved real time tape editing.' [3]

I am in Japan, and several hours ahead of most people on this board. It's only 1:30 PM here. I had a full night's sleep and I am at work.
Nice try with the flame. Keep it up, you can do better...
