Hi....I got bored and decided to overlay fleetwood mac's "go your own way" with some gangsta rap (a noble cause I'm sure you will agree).
I am having problems....
to find the beats i'm using hitpoints or some jazz, and then adjusting the tempo with time stretch until it is a known BPM....then overlaying with beats from reason (via rewire).
even though the alleged BPM of the fleetwood mac matches the bpm of the reason beats, they dont stay in sync....the verse is okay, but then the chorus starts to go all to hell....when i count in my head, it seems to be the same continuous beat....same problem with a couple other songs i tried to test it out...
does anyone have any pointers for this type of application.......it seems like cubase is capable of doing this, but how...? do i need to adjust the tempo or something...i read the manual something about tempo tracks....
the world needs some fleetwood mac rap action.
