ey guys i have a question about the bbe sonic maximizer plugin. i am using it as a vst through cubase le. sounds great on everything i put it on, especially drums. but there is on problem, when i turn the maximizer on as an insert effect on my drums group fader i get this really annoying sound, like a peak. it starts out really high and it dyes down after a few seconds. i cant ehar any audio for about 10 secs after it, then it comes back as a wet signal with the maximizer. when i look at drum group fader it says it has gone up to 60 db! i am afraid for my speakers, my headphones and of course my firepod. is there anyway i can get rid of this noise? it only happens when i turn the maximizer on. help if ya can.

I'd say that's a huge problem.

Call the software company, they need to know about this.

BTW even though the meters say it went up to +60db, your converters can't go over 0db. It will never be any louder than that.
