Hey guys. Haven't posted up anything in a while. I've had this kickin around for a month or so and just did a remix, so I'm interested in any different perspectives, opinions etc.

The guy doing the main narration is Captain William Graves

I suppose you aim to have the voice heard...some parts are a bit swamped...on my PC speakers...so if you want that kind of reference from some dude listening on PC speakers then, there you go. How'd you do the submarine blips? Did you create them with a synth or use a samlpe from an effects cd? Or what? Some pretty nice guitar tones and riffs...but for me the actual music doesn't seem to really say anything abuot the words and vice versa...but that's my point of view so don't worry. I appreciate what it is.

Hey man, great to have the feedback, thanks. All the sampled stuff including the submarine is from mp3s of WWII radio broadcasts. I agree about the vocal, it wobbles around a bit. I've done another mix and compressed it a bit more to level it out. Yeah I guess the words are a bit separate from the music..I tried to blend them using the same riff each time the guy comes back, I suupose it either works...or not! Heh. Cheers

Nice, Bulls...great guitar job  If I could change something, I´d go for a
bass drum with more punch and a fatter/less mid/highs snare.Groove is nice and I like the voice.

CIRO thanks for the listen. Yeah the way I put things together at the moment, the drums are basically mixed first, so I have to makes a choice and sticks to it. Cheers man

I like the varying levels of vocals - gives a sense of authenticity.
Nice riff.
Bleep bleep yeah!
This is the Blue Network calling.
I regret that I have stolen this by downloading it & look forward to playing it again.

Dude that was pretty freaking cool. No nits from me. I love WWII stuff.

Way cool, man!
Great riffs and the electronic parts are just right. Really original stuff, well done! Nothing to say about the recording, it's great.

Cheers
Joe :D

Pretty cool. So those are real mp3 sample from radio convos? Pretty neat.

Your concept tracks are always jammin'.

:)

Greg_L - Heh yeah I like watching the History channel. Thanks man

Dogman - Ed! How the hell are you? Been a long time since we rock and roll. Thanks for the listen

joeym - Hey Joe. Thanks for the good words

bigbubba - Thanks bubba. Yeah I found a site with lots of old radio broadcast stuff on it. Cheers man

Hey,

Listened to this last week but forgot to leave a good word...

Love the various riffs going on here (a truly angry sound at times) and also enjoyed the radio bits. Like Monkey, I sensed a sort of disconnect between the words and music, but don't mind much as it still sounds way cool.

Hey heatmiser thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm thinking less spoken samples and more real vocal might work better for this tune. Cheers man

Awesome stuff man. I can't say i'm a fan of the guitar tone, but nothing else would work for this. it sounds GREAT in this context.
