bass repair in rochester, ny

Anyone know a good place to take your bass in rochester, ny? Heard bad things about GC service. There's the h.o.g., but they're so disorganized I'm afraid i wouldn't get it back by Christmas. 2007. Maybe I'm wrong, thanks for any help.
 
Well, it's not in Rochester, but there used to be a guitar shop in Brockport called Brodesser Guitars. Ryan Brodesser used to build custom guitars and basses back in the late 70's-80's. He may not be there anymore, but I remember there being younger, local builders working at the shop as well.
I'll bet there's more then a few "Brodessers" kicking around the area and I still have and play the bass he and I built.

I would also try asking in your local craigslist.
