Looking at picking up a Bass POD XT Live, mainly for effects - possibly for a little bit of recording (demos and such).

By the look of the feature list there seems to be an amazing amount of live effects I can use, and for someone who is really into effects on their instrument I am slightly thrown away by the sheer number.

My question however for owners of the product (and I have searched and read on the Line 6 website) deals with exactly how do you program the pedal? Example, can you program in for each song the effects you want to use and all their settings, or would I have to set them up manually between each song in the set like I would a normal stomp box? I considered being able to save settings for each song to be an advantage of using the Line 6 Bass Pod and just wondered how product owners configured the pedal.

Thanks in advance,

Sammy.

Yeah, you can save your settings for each song as a Preset, and then during your gig, just call up your preset for that song and you are good to go.

As for programing your presets, I prefer to hook my POD XT Live up to my computer or laptop and use the Line6 software to edit my sounds and save my presets.

Tommy - thanks for the reply.

This product sounds awesome - I'm definitely going to pick one up.
