just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a realistic midi bass the best i have found is fruity loops boobass with lots and lots of tweaking, anyone got any suggestions?

Steinberg make a VSTi called 'Virtual Bassist' and Bornemark have another one called 'Broomstick Bass', both of which get high marks in the press.

They both cost a whole lot more than you're probably willing to spend at this point, so keep tweaking your FL samples until you're satisfied.

Yellow Tools Majestic.....

Spectrasonic Trilogy...

Most in my world are forever in debt to the Spectrasonic crew. With out question Stylus RMX and Atmosphere are THE best sonic software plugs to date.

Trilogy however hovers between greatness and just off the mark. I have faith in the Spectrasonic team and I'm sure Trilogy will be modified to address some of it's weak points.

I worked with Yellow Tools Majestic last week and it had some pretty fabulous sounds as well.

All that and...it's just me talkin after all

WHY would you assume that I have more money than tbone? What possible purpose would that serve? Where in his post did he mention any financial restraints?

I never mentioned Access Virus or Absynth. The Plug in's I did mention where with in $49.00 of the plugs you suggested.

As to most in my world having more disposable income If that proved to be true there'd be a definative reason for it.

I make no personal judgements about you...please afford me the same
