OK i want to buy a bass drum mic that will give me a nice fat wet sound i cant spend over 200 does anyone have any sugestions on what sort of mic i should use im thinking about buying sennheiser e602 kick mic. i could also use some tips on how to achieve the fat wet sound that i speak of cause i know i have no clue on how to gwt it. thanks
Funny how things work...I'm most likely going to be ordering my ATM25 on Monday. I have used this mic quite a bit in the past, and it's a great sounding mic particularly for the price.
Something else you might want to consider as well...there's an old article on prorec.com about recording a project and on it he uses an AT Pro25. It's listed at $119 at AMS, so that's probably one to look into.
