bbllaahhh..
I've been a dedicated clean-sound bassist, even if in a couple of metal bands. Tried something years ago, and just didn't find anything that didn't cut the lows or the "thump" from a palm-muted note.
(No matter how much I've trained, I just can't beat the attack, speed and precision of a pick with my fingers, I was a decently doublepicking guitarist younger..)
However, been hearing about big muff, and woollymammoth etc. from bandmates and friends, and I figure I'd better get something..
So, please argue what's the best bass-distortion, so I'll get hints on the subject!!
