I ain't no bass player, just having a little fun. After the 1-900-BABE mic test, I can post anything without getting embarrassed..... :D

Click on my SpankSHED songs link ....Bass diddy. :D :D :D :D :D

Both? I don't know...sounds more DI'd to me. Pretty decent sound either way.

To supply with or transmit through a microphone.

Mic'd.... ;)

At least that's how I say it.
As far as the bass, not sure myself. It has good sound, and your playing aint bad at all, True. That's all that matters.

who's the guy in the background bossing you around true? apparently he does'nt know who you are.......the pres of 1-900-BABE. :D

I 'moused' my little 20 watt microbass practice amp with an SM58/pop filter, positioned apx 6 inches above the front of the speaker. :)

Not a lot of low frequency info on that track. If you could blend it with a DI signal, it would probably sound pretty sweet.

nicely done true. i'd say both. there are times when i hear the room and times when i don't.

:D :D :D ...the secret is cheese in the cone..

Yeppers...it is mic'd and my room has no treatment yet. The studio is in the basement, the walls have some kind of stucco stuff on them and been painted.

The ceiling is has tile squares...probably some kind of Abestos.... :D It is around 7 foot high ceiling.

Thanks for listening Rez!! :)

Cheers True! I listened to the whole track and it got stuck in my head for a while. :p

I agree with scrubs - blending with a DI should give you a very useable sound. Something like a Morley switcher to split the signal: http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--MLYABY

Hanging heavy blankets (moving blankets if you have them) in a "V" in front of the amp will help tighten, focus the ambience.

Watermelon asks a good question here - if you paint the basement a different color, you'll get a whole new bass-thumpin' vibe going. :D
