Bass DI Box .. ??

Anyone have any recommendations for a decent but not too expensive (roughly $100 bucks) Direct box for a Bass Guitar???

I'm using on a 4 track Tasacm 424. . . Thanks in advance!
 
the zoom pedal is a good way to to go if you want all the extra effexs and stuff. just make sure you dont use the built in compresser it wooshes way toomuch. i also dont like how you can here the digital background noise of the processor in action. almost sounds like dial up on the computer. id save your money for a bass pod. i had a sans amp and it has one sound to me where the pod has more possibilities
 
I've never encoutered either of those problems, and I typically just use the presets on the unit.

Perhaps I just got lucky.
 
A used SansAmp Bass Driver DI. ART Tube MP is a decent DI too, only about $50.
 
what the purpose of a di box for bass

im direct recording bass is there some advantage?
