gimmi your mic!
I consider switching from Logic 5.5.1 (Win XP) to Sonar 4.

- Can Sonar be installed on a desktop AND laptop with one license?
- Is it authorized by a USB key like Logic?

Thanks!

Yes. The license agreement reads "... grants you a non-exclusive license to have one person use the... software on one personal computer at a time." Obviously, if you have it installed on two computers, "legally" you can not use both versions at the same time.

No, it uses a serial number. That is one of the best things about Sonar. They treat their customers with respect - not like crooks.

Thanks, man! That's exactly what I needed to know. I think I'll switch from Logic to Sonar. I hate that I have to bring the Logic USB dongle with me all the time (which also means that I have one USB port less on my notebook)

amen, long live cakewalk.

They treat their customers with respect, but the serial key jackers make out like bandits I bet.
