I'm very much a n00b to this stuff, so bear with me. I'm sure the first question has been covered a lot...latency issues. I know squat about them other than I sometimes have issues with it. Some of those times I can simply drag the track to the right time to match up woth the other already recorded tracks. But other times I can't drop my off-time track in the right spot....it will only drop a little before or a little after where I need it
My other issue is converting to MP3 and playing through Windows Media Player. When I do this, I get some kinda bad sounding compression effect. Bad as in the volume will mysteriously just jump up and down. I can play the same MP3 through MusicMatch Jukebox without this issue
I guess one more question I would have is where is a good place I can start reading up on basics of recording? Thanks!
