bash or praise my clip

This is just a 50 second clip of a tune I'm working on called Drive. I know it's kinda boomy sounding cause I recorded it using a $2 mic and $10 pc speakers. I can't hear the bass on pc speakers. No vocals yet. It's just not happening with the $2 mic. Anyway, drive it into the ground or say it's ok. I would really like to hear any opinions.

Obviously, the quality of your recording isn't too great, but I like the song itself. - good flow. Something I would definately want to have loaded on my iPOD while snowboarding. Do you have other sections written? If so, keep us updated.

Not bad. It reminds me of some of the instrumentals that used to pop up on Sebadoh albums. Lofi, but cool vibe. You might want to post it in the MP3 clinic for more feedback. There's not much songwriting to comment on in a 50 sec instrumental jam. Also, if you could put a full length song up on soundclick, it will give us a better idea of what you can do.

thanks for the comments. I do have most of the song written and arranged but like I said, I can't really get the sound I need through onboard sound, pc speaks, and mic. the guitar worked ok but when I tried doing the vocals.......it made me cringe. I'll repost when I get my gear. waitin for uncle sam to give me back some bread he owes me. aaroncomp I checked out your tunes. good songs and the vocals are excellent. I'd kill them cymbals though (if you don't mind me saying). thanks again for the comments.
