Background: Were cramped in a pathetic closet of a practiceplace. we can hear squat, and it is hindering our progress imho. No other places available.

When we miced our shit to record rehealsals, our singer was amazed how much clearer the music is through mics and a mixer to headphones.
now, I've allready ordered a 16-track mixer (mackie vlz pro) for recordings, and it'd be good for mixing practises too.

The question remains, do we get a shitload of extensioncords from the mixer to headsets, or is there a bundle of in-ear wireless monitors for a 4-man band worthy of purchasing with real money???

anyone here using those things?? pros and cons??

If it is just for practice, I would just get a couple of headphone amps and some heapdphone extension cords and keep the whole thing in the "affordable" realm. If you are looking to do this as a permanent solution for live use as well, I would plan on spending about $600USD per channel of wireless in ears on the cheap end, and closer to $1000USD per channel if you want it to be a nice setup. If you spend any less, you are bound to regret as are most bands that do that.

I agree with xstatic. Wired headphones are very solid and cheap compared to reliable wireless. The cheap wireless stuff is the work of the devil.

yeah i agree. those real nice multi-wireless setups are like 2-3 grand or better.
