I cant for the life of me get to this song...what name is it under?.....

YEAAH! I am digging it.

There are only two things I can hear. Where is the kick hiding? and I think the guitar could have some more high end .

Other than that , its awesome.

I love that guitar playing on the right channel.

just wanted to let you know that

I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THIS SONG

I'm on like my eigth consecutive listen with no end in sight
whats going on?

I love it man.

sounds great in the headphones, especially the strong bass sounds you hear between 35 and 48 seconds.

do you intend for this to remain instrumental? would sound great with some howling vocals.....

Wow Cyan, thank you!!

Thanks everyone. I am pretty bad with words.....most of my music is basically guitar oriented. Feel free to add words and send me a copy!!!!! Thanks again everyone

First of all, if youll sing it, Ill donate some lyrics...thats my kinda music....obviously hasslin' those Smurfs doesnt take up all your time......:D

Like Cyan, Im not hearing the kick....its probably there but the bass is walking all over it seriously....you need to give them their separate space....id roll of the bass under 100hz and let the kick have that space.....the guitars do need a little high end, and they sound a little muddy around 300hz......also, the bass seems to drop out in places....it may need some compression but that may make it even boomier....maybe retrack it with compression going in?....

keep in mind im listening on headphones so some of my EQ ideas may be off a little.....

Fuzz

Greetings,

i Like it

but i really was wanting a heavier guitar sound
especialy with all that cool picking (warning, oldschool metallica fan here so i am biased)

yeah gotta get that KICK back

i like the mellow guitar harmonies
not insane, not boring, but juuuust right

Very nice,

I think the only thing I would change, would be a little less severe pan on the left right guitars.

It kind of makes the the guitar and the drums sound detatched from one another. I hope you know what I mean.

This and a touch more bass, and this song would be killer.

Now the good news the song and the playing are fantastic!!

Keep them coming!!

Gargamel,

Scratch the pan critique, I have a bad pot on my living room stereo, once the volume kicked in on the left channel, balance was fine.

Once again, great work!!

bad pot, yikes!!!

Reminds me of the time I told my father-in-law to get some pot cleaner spray.

Queue,

Never buy pot from an Italian, nine times out of ten you'll get oregano.

I resemble that remark....

(I'm Italian... but am not selling any pot.... or oregano....)

I hear Bruce has a duck for sale...

Confilct is sooo solid. I would agree with previous comment on a vital lack of low end kick. Get that thump in there!!
Without lyrics you've a tactical sence of arrangment and I would be so bold as to say that if you hook up with a writter/vocalist, he/she should have nothing but ease and fun writting to such juicey arrangments.

Find you bottom end and you've got a great metal song.
Find words and you've a great metal song with words.

Theron.

Hey Smurf Killer,

Lyrically, what do you think the song should be about...does the music conjure up anything in your mind, any visions?.....

Hmmmmmmm. I don't know Gidge. The tune kind of reminds me Van Halen (1984) meets Iron Maiden. I called the song Conflict because I wrote it September 21st. I work at 99 Wall St. (500 yards from the Towers.) I was lucky enough to be on vacation at the Turks & Caicos Islands. I was there from 9/9 - 9/18. The day I came home I picked up my guitar and wrote the song in 10 minutes. -- I have never been one who excells at puting my feelings and emotions on paper. I do it with the music.
(God I hope that doesn't sound to flaky)....
