Interesting lyrics . . . and I would hate to make comment on them without knowing what you had in mind for the music.

I've still got a set of your lyrics from a while ago, which I had intended to set to music. I've not forgotten, but I haven't had the spark of creation that allows something to come out.

Those lyrics, like the ones above, evoke in me a strong West Indies feel . . . and I think at the time I was considering a reggae treatment for your other set.

If that's what you had in mind for these, it could easily work.

Cool Irwin - a new twist on love where the girl is hung up on the old guy. Usually that's a "solo" story but you've introduced the second party into it. It a cruel thing to live through but part of life. Good job....
